Analysis of edge detection algorithms based on gradient and aggregation operators. Part 1. The algorithm of differentiation based on aggregation operators

摘要

The Prewitt, Sobel, Sharr methods of digital images edge detection are considered. Aggregation operators are applied to estimation of parameters. The modeling experiment results allow to determine advantages and disadvantages of gradient methods in digital image processing.
